Future Leaders Programme

A number of years ago (back in 2007 to be precise) I attended a work experience week at Fleming Family and Partners. You were organising and leading many of the sessions. I was not drawn from the traditional pool of candidates and I wanted to write and say thank you for the experience you gave me. It taught me to be confident in my abilities and to stand my own ground, and dare I say it, become more adventurous.

I qualified as a lawyer with !@£$%, before working at an American law firm. Now, I am striking out alone as a consultant lawyer, working with a mix of clients, and balancing this work with my passion for racing in marathons, mostly out in the States.

So in short, I look back on my career path, and see many of the decisions stem from the confidence I developed just in that week back in 2007.
